the sanctuary

Healing does not happen in isolation.

Martin Healing Sanctuary was created from a simple belief: healing happens in relationship - to ourselves, to others, and to the spaces we inhabit.

Nestled within the historic walls of 3580, a restored 1890 church in East Falls, Philadelphia, the sanctuary is home to a growing community of practitioners, teachers, artists, and wellness professionals dedicated to supporting whole-person wellbeing.

While many people first discover us through ketamine-assisted therapy, Martin Healing Sanctuary is designed to support healing beyond a single appointment. Here, clinical care exists alongside movement, creativity, education, and community.

A place to begin. A place to return to.

Healing is not only a mental process—it lives in the body.

Within the sanctuary, movement practices help regulate the nervous system, build resilience, and reconnect us with ourselves.

These offerings create opportunities to slow down, listen inward, and cultivate presence.

Safta Yoga is nestled in 3580. Founded by Roni, Safta is a yoga and wellness project rooted in intention, not performance. Small classes. Real connection. A space to arrive exactly as you are.

Creativity & Expression

Creative practice can be a powerful catalyst for reflection, insight, and connection.

The sanctuary regularly hosts gatherings that invite curiosity, expression, and play.

  • Sketch Club

  • Art Workshops

  • Writing & Creative Practices

  • Seasonal Gatherings

We believe creativity is not reserved for artists—it is a fundamental part of being human.

Community & Learning

Healing rarely happens alone.

As part of the larger 3580 community, Martin Healing Sanctuary hosts experiences that bring people together around shared growth, learning, and connection.

  • Community Events

  • Wellness Workshops

  • Educational Programs

  • Guest Practitioners

  • Retreats & Special Experiences

Whether attending a workshop, joining a movement class, or simply meeting others on a similar path, community becomes an important part of the healing process.

The space

Designed with intention.

Founded by Val Nehez, 3580 was created as a sanctuary for people to work, heal, and thrive.

Originally built in 1890, the restored church now serves as a living ecosystem of creativity, wellness, design, and connection. Every room has been thoughtfully designed to support comfort, presence, and meaningful human interaction.

Located on historic Indian Queen Lane—a path that has connected people and communities for centuries—the sanctuary continues that tradition of gathering and transformation today.

A Curated Community

Martin Healing Sanctuary is not a single practice or modality.

It is a collaborative network of trusted practitioners, teachers, guides, and community members who share a commitment to healing and wellbeing.

Whether you come seeking therapy, ketamine-assisted treatment, movement, creative expression, education, or connection, our hope is that you find a place where you feel supported, inspired, and at home.

Because healing is not just what happens in a treatment room. It is a way of being in relationship - with yourself, with others, and with the world around you.
